Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

A former This Morning star could return to the famous blue sofa after Phillip Schofield's exit.It is said a former favourite is in talks to return to the popular ITV show after Phil stepped down from the network earlier this year, following an affair with a younger male colleagueSources have now claimed that regular Loose Women host Ruth langsford could be heading back to the blue sofa after more than a year away.Ruth and husband Eamonn Holmes had regularly hosted the mid-morning show but their Friday slot was replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, the Mirror reports.It is believed Ruth could soon be back to give the show a more "family" feel.A source told Bella Magazine: "The idea is that the show is desperate to reassure viewers that it's a family operation and the more familiar faces there are the better - and whenever they've done market research, Ruth has always come up as a firm favourite."A spokesperson for This Morning and ITV has been contacted for comment.The Mirror revealed that Eamonn and Ruth were "blindsided" at being replaced on the blue sofa in 2021, as well as "furious and upset" about the axe, but they returned a year later to cover the summer break.Ruth said: "We’ve hosted so many This Morning summers now and we always look forward to it.

They are always a lot of fun the summer weeks, it has a slightly different vibe to it than the rest of the year."People are often tuning in on their own holidays so we look forward to hearing where people are and they send us messages about what they are doing for the summer.
