In scenes set to air on Monday, Jacob suffers an allergic reaction after attending a tasting event and ends up in hospital. He's soon rushed to the hospital and after his stepfather, David Metcalfe finds out what has happened races to his bedside.
Jacob's love life hasn't always come easy either, following the tragic death of his partner Leanna Cavanagh. But luckily for the soap star, 20 his life is miles away from his on screen persona having stolen the hearts of the nation during his time on Dancing On Ice and is in a relationship with his stunning girlfriend.
In February 2022, Joe confirmed he was dating Anna Norton who has been noticeably at his side ever since. At the time a source told The Sun: "Joe and Anna are totally smitten with one another and feel now is a good time to let the world know they're an item." The source added that the pair have spent a lot of time together at charity events and "make each other really happy".
