Elle King Reacts to Dad Rob Schneider's Public Apology for Being Absent Father

Elle King is addressing her father Rob Schneider‘s recent public apology. Back in August, the 35-year-old “Ex’s & Oh’s” singer slammed the 60-year-old actor and comedian for his comments about drag queens and the LGBTQ+ community and also reflected on him sending her to fat camp when she was a child.

She also said that her relationship with her father is “toxic and very silly.” A few days later, Rob appeared on Tucker Carlson‘s show where he apologized for being an absent father to Elle, saying, “I want to just tell my daughter, Elle, I love you and I wish I was the father in my 20s that you needed and clearly I wasn’t and I hope you can forgive me for my shortcomings.” In a new interview, Elle reacted to Rob‘s apology and explained why she publicly called him out.
