EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite has revealed that she's lost a stone in weight after ditching one thing from her diet.The 52-year-old opened up that she made a big lifestyle change when she was on BBC endurance show Feel the Fear.The mum-of-two is now virtually alcohol free after 'suffering from the effects of drinking wine during the menopause' and says doing this has given her a 'new lease of life'.Speaking about her decision to quit the booze, she said: "Let's just say I put on a lot of weight when I hit the menopause - over a stone."I've never been one to diet but when I quit drinking, I lost the stone I'd put on and craved goodness like fresh salads and juices."Tamzin decided to quit booze for six months after Feel the Fear, explaining she'd become a "lightweight" during the menopause.She told Closer magazine: "It hit me I couldn't drink like I used to and decided the best thing for me was to abstain.

I took a break last year for six months...I felt amazing!"Tamzin admitted that she now only has "two drinks max once in a while", sharing that she and her partner Tom Child are both "more mindful" of alcohol.The actress has expressed her gratitude towards her boyfriend Tom, who she has described as being a "dream stepdad" to her two children and the pair have been together for five years.Paying tribute to her partner in a series of posts on Twitter, Tamzin told her followers Tom was a "dream stepdad".She wrote: "Deep down they know he is kind, he cares and loves them deeply and I know how lucky I am #stepparentgratitude."The couple began dating in 2017 and celebrated their fourth anniversary in November last year - as documented on Instagram.The Mel Owen actress wrote in a post at the time: "If it all ended
