EastEnders fans tuning into the latest episode on Tuesday night were left completely baffled and frustrated as Bobby failed to spot a major Cindy Beale clue ahead of the character's highly-anticipated return to Walford in episodes to come.Anna and Gina Knight are clueless about their mum's true identity, only aware that she is a lady called Rose Knight, who married their father George.

However, as the Mirror reports, Rose is actually Cindy Beale, who evidently has a huge history with the Square.She was given the name Rose after she was placed in witness protection due to an earlier incident in prison and reportedly now hopes to return to Walford.

Tuesday's episode saw Anna secretly meet a private investigator to share information about her mum's disappearance, as she handed over a silver locket.The seemingly innocent piece of jewellery however had a key clue on it as the date '9.12.93' was engraved on the back, which is of course the date Cindy's twins, Lucy and Peter Beale, were born on December 9, 1993.Fans watched on at last night's episode gritting their teeth as Bobby turned up and held the locket but failed to spot the date and the significance despite the fact it is his siblings' birth date.

His dad, Ian Beale, welcomed the twins with Cindy during their marriage.People took to Twitter following the episode as they vented their frustrations, with one writing: "Bobby didn’t recognise the date on the locket # EastEnders " with an embarrassed emoji.A different account put: "Bobby has seen the necklace!
