East Kilbride pharmacy hosts community open day to celebrate takeover

An East Kilbride pharmacy hosted a community open day in celebration of a recent takeover. Numark Pharmacy has taken over the pharmacy on Alberta Avenue which will now be known as Rowlands Pharmacy Alberta.

The event, on August 2, which served as a celebration of and recommitment to serving the local community, saw local resident Robert Burns cut the all-important blue ribbon to welcome in the new era.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Rowlands Pharmacy has committed to topping up the money raised so far and purchasing the defibrillator.Pharmacy manager Brenda Nelson said: “It’s been a wonderful morning here at Rowlands Pharmacy Alberta.
