Celtic and Dundee United fans will be forced to show Covid vaccination passports at Tannadice next month - just 24 hours before the policy is changed.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced on Tuesday that the hotly-debated vaccine passport scheme would be put on ice from December.

Those with a passport can still use it to gain entry to football matches and other events but a negative LFT test will now be accepted as an alternative.

Many had assumed this meant that negative tests would be accepted for entry for the clash between United and Celtic at Tannadice next month.
