Dundee Stars bosses have warned away fans not to buy tickets for their next five upcoming matches at home - because they will be turned away even if they have paid for the briefs.
New Scottish Government coronavirus restrictions mean indoor events have a maximum seating capacity of just 200 people. This accounts for just eight per cent of the Dundee Ice Arena's 2,400 seat capacity - severely limiting the Stars' ability to make enough money from each fixture to survive.
Tickets for the ice hockey team's next three games go on sale tomorrow. Ahead of the ticket office opening, the team has warned fans thinking of travelling to Dundee to stay away, and watch the game remotely instead.
