Drug dealer throws £149K worth of heroin onto motorway during police chase

A drug dealer threw two kilos of heroin onto a busy motorway during a police chase before smashing through a barrier at the airport.Neil Corrigan dangerously weaved through traffic on the M56, went around a roundabout the wrong way and crashed through the parking barrier at Manchester Airport on March 5.Corrigan led officers on a long pursuit in his white Mercedes Sprinter flatbed van after they had tried to stop him near Warrington.Instead of stopping, he drove away before tossing the large drug package out of the window.

Dashcam footage showed him weaving in and out of traffic at speed, reports Manchester Evening News. He then drove onto the A555 towards Manchester Airport.

He was seen mounting the kerb and going around a roundabout in the wrong direction before ploughing into a barrier near to the entrance of a multi-storey car park at Terminal One.

Corrigan, 42, then attempted to flee the scene on foot, but was watched by police helicopters. He was quickly tracked down and arrested near to the Radisson Blu Hotel.
