Dick and Angel Strawbridge leaving France for UK following Channel 4 firing

Dick and Angel Strawbridge confirmed they will be returning to the UK for a brief stint following their brutal axe from Channel 4 earlier this year.

The Escape to the Chateau stars were axed by Channel 4 bosses after an independent investigation into their behaviour on set of the show.

In a leaked audio recording, Angel could be heard calling a producer a “f***ed up little c**t” in the shocking clip. Elsewhere in the recording, Angel said that her husband Dick talked to people like “s**t,” to which a producer responded: “And I don’t like that either.”The husband and wife TV duo are set to return to the UK later this year on their book tour, marking their first comeback to the country following their brutal sacking, reports The Mirror.“We are giddy with excitement to announce we are coming to the UK to celebrate 'A Good Old-Fashioned Book Launch',” they wrote on their Instagram account on Thursday.“Please join us live this autumn for two exclusive and intimate evenings at The Bristol Hippodrome, 22nd October 2023 and The London Barbican, 23rd October 2023,” they added.“We'll all be reading extracts from the book, chatting about the creative process of putting pen to paper, sharing memories, funny tales, and pictures that didn't make it to print,” Dick and Angel added.This comes after production company Two Rivers Media raised concerns about Angel and Dick's behaviour on set.
