Left-leaning outlets have ignored the latest development in the debunked story about Border Patrol agents supposedly whipping Haitian migrants, despite previously parroting the claim.  According to a Sept 24, 2021 email obtained by the Heritage Foundation, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was told that the photographer who captured a clash between Border Patrol agents and Haitian migrants in Del Rio had said that the incident was being misconstrued. But hours before, Mayorkas attended a White House press conference where he failed to challenge the false narrative, pushed by other members of the Biden administration, including the president himself.

Law enforcement officers in Arizona discovered 72,000 suspected fentanyl pills during a traffic stop leading to a police chase involving a fleeing suspect. Police said the suspected fentanyl pills were worth $1.4 million. Navajo County Sheriff's deputies seized the suspected fentanyl pills during a traffic stop on Monday.

The Missouri man accused of holding a woman hostage in his basement for a month until she escaped and begged neighbors for help wearing "latex lingerie" and a padlocked metal dog collar is under investigation for more potential crimes, according to authorities. Police arrested 39-year-old Timothy Marrion Haslett Jr. of Excelsior Springs last week on charges of first-degree rape or attempted rape, first-degree kidnapping and second-degree assault after allegedly holding a woman in a dungeon-like chamber in his basement for weeks.

An arrest has been made following the release of security footage showing a man forcefully walking a teenage girl before she was sexually assaulted in a Los Angeles bathroom, police said Wednesday.  The Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News an arrest has been made but could not confirm if the suspect seen on camera was the person in police custody. The incident occurred Tuesday at a park in the El Sereno neighborhood.  A suspect is seen with a teen girl in Los Angeles moments before she was sexually assaulted.

An Oregon sheriff said the state's recently implemented bail reform policies are making her community less safe and contradict what rural residents want. An Indiana man accused of smuggling three migrants crashed his car during a high-speed chase in Uvalde County recently, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Richard Diaz, 21, allegedly told police that he was being paid $3,000 per person to smuggle the migrants from the border community of Eagle Pass to San Antonio.  He was charged with two counts of human smuggling causing serious bodily injury, Texas DPS spokesman Christopher Olivarez told Fox News Digital.  The driver sped off during an apparent traffic stop in Uvalde County, Texas.  (Texas Department of Public Safety) Dashcam footage shows the driver accelerate away from an apparent traffic stop at night. As the driver sped through what appears to be a residential area, his vehicle spun out of control and careened off the road into a pole.  One of the migrants suffered a severe head injury, according to Texas DPS.Two of the migrants were males from Mexico, while the third was a woman from Guatemala.  The driver's vehicle careened off the road and wrecked into a pole.  (Texas Department of Public Safety) Diaz told the responding officer after the wreck that he "panicked."  It's the latest incident of human smuggling to strike Uvalde, which like other communities near the U.S.-Mexico border, has been inundated with migrants in recent months.  One of the migrants suffered a severe head injury, according to Texas DPS.  (Texas Department of Public Safety) Last month, a 17-year-old girl who police say was "involved in human smuggling" crashed a vehicle in downtown Uvalde, leaving two people dead and 10 others injured.  "The nightmare of the border crisis, when will it end?" Former Alabama escapee Casey White pleaded not guilty Tuesday at his arraignment on escape and felony murder charges after his alleged accomplice in the jailbreak shot herself in the head rather than face arrest. Vicky White, a former Lauderdale County, Alabama, corrections official, walked Casey White out of jail on April 29, and the duo led investigators on an 11-day manhunt spanning multiple states and involving disguises and multiple cars. The two were not related but were allegedly involved in a jailhouse romance.  Deputies in Indiana recaptured Casey White after a car chase as the alleged lovers tried to evade capture.

A Texas border mayor called out both parties Monday on "America's Newsroom," arguing Republicans and Democrats are the "root cause" of the border crisis.  "It is a crisis relative to immigration and border security. And unfortunately, we have a tendency to look beyond our borders for the elusive root causes when in reality and unfortunately, the fact remains that politicians on both sides of the aisle are the root cause," said Rio Grande City, Texas Mayor Joel Villarreal.  Villarreal said no mayor or governor should "bear the burden" for what he described as a "broken immigration system."  Villarreal said he is not confident the influx of illegal immigration will end because "neither party has delivered immigration reform in several decades." The two teens shot outside Rep. Lee Zeldin’s home while the Republican candidate for governor of New York's twin daughters were home alone have been identified, according to a report.  The New York Post first identified the teen victims Monday as Joel Murphy and Elijah Robinson, both 17-year-olds from Mastic, on New York’s Long Island.The Suffolk County Police Department declined to confirm the identities of the victims to Fox News Digital when contacted by phone about the report.  Both teen victims suffered gunshot wounds to the chest in the shooting in Shirley, the Post said, citing police, noting that Murphy also reportedly suffered a lacerated liver while Robinson sustained an arm wound.  According to the report, a "high-ranking" law enforcement source said the teen victims were "known to the department" and had been at a recording studio on a reservation in Suffolk County that is known for gang activity.  New York GOP candidate for governor Rep.

A San Antonio teenager's grandmother turned him in to police after discovering he allegedly shot his sister's boyfriend while on drugs. Officials found the victim with a gunshot wound in his right thigh at around 6 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to FOX 29 San Antonio.The victim, who was found in his apartment, was sent to a local hospital.

A group of pro-life students is suing their Las Vegas high school and the surrounding school district, alleging discrimination against their campus club. One of the plaintiffs, recent ECTA graduate Felipe Avila, who founded the Students for Life chapter at East Career and Technical Academy (ECTA) in 2019, told local news he sensed "animosity" from administrators who "did not like" his group's message.

A man in Alabama allegedly poured boiling water down his 1-year-old baby's throat while he was out on bond in relation to a domestic violence charge. Eugene Lamont Sneed, 23, was out on bond in relation to a 2020 domestic violence charge when he allegedly poured the boiling hot water down the throat of his daughter on Sunday, who is only 1, according to FOX 17. Niktoria Lett, the mother of the 1-year-old, Royalty, said that the baby was left alone with Sneed, who is the baby's father, on Sunday.

A police chief in Texas was arrested on Thursday after allegedly soliciting prostitution from a minor. Thomas Peoples, 55, was the police chief in Oak Ridge, Texas.
