Former drug dealer Curtis Warren has been arrested months after being released from jail. Warren was detained and arrested on suspicion of breaching his Serious Crime Prevention Order.

The 60-year-old, from Toxteth, was arrested by the National Crime Agency in Boldon Colliery, South Tyneside, just before 6am on Wednesday, July 5.

He is in custody being questioned by police on suspicion of committing numerous breaches, the ECHO reports. The order came into force after his release from prison in November of last year for drug trafficking offences.

The suspected breaches under investigation relate to the unauthorised use of mobile phones, vehicles, bank accounts and travel.
