Country singer Colt Ford’s condition revealed as he ‘remains in the ICU’ after heart attack

He’s best known for songs such as “Slow Ride,” “Times We Had,” “Dirt Road Anthem” and “Must Be the Country.” In the past, he has collaborated with various stars including Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Walker Hayes, Toby Keith, Lady A and Willie Nelson.Ford had just finished his set at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row — a restaurant and night club named after the hit singer — in Gilbert, Ariz., when he had the medical emergency on Thursday night.

He was transported to Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, where he was placed in the intensive care unit. He was later transferred to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, a rep for Ford told The Post.

Following that incident, Ford was reportedly in stable yet critical condition, but now his reps told People that he’s “steadily improving.” Before his hospitalization, he had been scheduled to perform at two other venues in Nevada and Arizona over the weekend.
