Corrie fans ‘rumble’ Stephen Reid's ‘return from the dead’ in Christmas twist

After another nail-biting night in Coronation Street, that saw killer Stephen Reid finally receive a taste of his own medicine by being run over by Peter Barlow, fans at home should be able to breathe a sigh of relief that the murderous businessman’s rampage is at an end.

However, despite scenes on screen showing Stephen’s body being loaded into an ambulance in a bodybag on Friday, 13 October, several fans are convinced that the killer may not be quite as dead as he had appeared.

In fact, several fans were adamant that he wouldn’t be caught out so easily, with several suggesting he may even have gone to great lengths to fake his own death just to avoid being brought to justice for the deaths of Teddy and Leo Thompkins, and of course his business rival Rufus Donahue.

And that’s without getting started on his string of non-fatal offences which included drugging Carla Connor, trying to murder his ex-girlfriend Elaine to claim a life insurance policy he had taken out in her name and defrauding his own mother Audrey Roberts!
