Viewers of the ITV soap recently saw Bethany head to Turkey to work with a cosmetic surgery clinic. It was Debbie Webster who informed Bethany that a friend of hers is the CEO of a cosmetic surgery company who was looking for someone to write an advertorial on their new facility in Turkey.
After initially turning it down, her boyfriend Daniel Osbourne convinced her to change her mind. Having headed to Turkey, Bethany will face a life-changing trauma when the cosmetic procedure in Turkey goes disastrously wrong when she makes the decision to undergo liposuction at the clinic. Viewers will see Bethany, played by Lucy Fallon, in a critical condition after contracting sepsis as a result of a botched procedure, leading to her living with a permanent stoma.
