Cleaner lists 10 household items she avoids owning as they get 'full of dirt'
dailyrecord.co.ukA professional cleaner has shared the 10 things she would never have in her home as they are too tiresome to keep clean. Victoria Kitson took to social media to explain why she refuses to own certain household interiors.
The 31 year-old from Manchester recently set up her own cleaning business and clients have been keeping her busy. In a video posted to TikTok, she said venetian blinds are 'a pain' to clean as they're so 'flimsy', while metal and stainless steel items can scratch and gather grubby fingerprints 'very easily'."People buy these things without thinking about how high maintenance they're going to be", explained Victoria in the clip."A lot of them look gorgeous but they collect dust and marks very easily.
For example, venetian blinds are so flimsy which makes them a pain to clean, but shutter blinds look very similar but are a lot sturdier."Then you've got square sinks.
Normal sinks are more rounded at the base but with square ones, food can get stuck in the corners and limescale can get stuck around the edge."I live in quite an affluent area, and I see the cube sinks a lot.
