Ahead of series two of The Traitors hitting our screens next month, host Claudia Winkleman has opened up about the new season and has revealed that she was left “shaking” during filming.
Having hit our screens last year, the BBC One show proved to be a success among viewers at home and even won big at this year's Bafta Awards ceremony.
Luckily fans of the show don’t have long to wait for a new instalment of the game show, with season two set to launch on Wednesday 3 January.
While last year’s series may have had us on the edge of our seats, Claudia has explained that viewers can expect an “extremely tense” game this year, too. “There’s one round table when I came out shaking,” she said. “They come having seen the first series, so are more quick to suspect but they all play a brilliant game.” She added: “But however prepared you think you are, you’re not.” Like the first series, the show will see a group of strangers stay in a castle in the Scottish Highlands where they will compete for a cash prize.
