Christmas shortage warning as Trafford warehouse staff plan strike action

The north could be faced with severe beer shortages ahead of Christmas after one of the leading pallet companies has threatened strike action over pay.

Chep UK, which is based in Trafford, has warned that deliveries in December could be delayed or cancelled altogether if the pay dispute goes ahead.
