Celtic star Greg Taylor has proposed to his long-term girlfriend Laura McFarlane during a romantic Greek getaway. The couple had flown to Mykonos after the end of the football season, alongside some of the 24-year-old defender 's former team mates and their partners.
Their romantic proposal was caught on camera as the couple were seen walking hand in hand following a path of rose petals which lead up to a huge heart made out of candles. When the Scotland star got down on one knee, Laura burst into tears as she said yes.The defender, who joined Celtic from Kilmarnock in 2019, spared no expense as he popped open a bottle of champagne moments later.Further pictures show a tearful Laura, showing off her diamond ring during a video call.Former Hoops team mates Ryan Christie and Kristoffer Ajer, now with Premier League sides Bournemouth and Brentford respectively, were there for the big moment. The trio are good mates, as Greg and Ryan were both present at Kristoffer's engagement celebration in London at the beginning of this year. They aren't the only Celtic couple to get engaged recently as last week, right back Josip Juranovic announced he is set to wed long term girlfriend Lana Mihojlevic.
