Despite this, Cambuslang went 4-2 ahead, before tiring and conceding three times in the last 15 minutes.McColl says the decision to send Dillon off was harsh, has video evidence to prove it, and will be appealing the decision by Ayrshire whistler Calum Haswell.He said: “Sending off our goalie is just stupid, and I will be putting in an appeal.
The goalie has clashed with their player who has run through, Calum Haswell isn’t in line with it, he’s a good bit away from it.“The two of them clatter into each other, their guy has tried to punch the ball, so I’d say it’s mis-timed by the two of them.
The ref hasn’t sent off the goalkeeper right away, he’s waited a couple of minutes, and then decides to send him off.“Most refs would just run out and say ‘that’s a straight red’ but he didn’t, which I thought was quite odd.
