The CAA Foundation has teamed with Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Thrive Global on an initiative dubbed #FirstRespondersFirst to provide healthcare workers with vital tools and supplies to combat the deadly coronavirus.

With 80 percent of Los Angeles Unified School District families living below the poverty line, CAA president Richard Lovett has teamed with the Anthony and Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation and the Ballmer Group to launch a fund to help these students amid the growing coronavirus pandemic that forced the indefinite closure of L.A.'s public schools on Monday. "Schools are the center of the communities we serve and provide an important part of the social safety net for many families and their children," superintendent Austin Beutner said Thursday in a statement announcing the fund.

Following a similar move by fellow major agency UTA on Wednesday night, CAA and ICM have asked all employees to work from home, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. CAA's New York office was encouraged to work from home early Thursday, while the California office will work from home starting end of day Thursday.

As more and more offices close around the industry and world, CAA is closing its Century City Offices.
