The Labour by-election candidate for Rutherglen and Hamilton West has slammed his SNP counterpart for backing calls for residents in the area to pay to commute into Glasgow City Centre.The SNP’s by-election candidate Katy Loudon has backed calls proposed by SNP Glasgow City Councillors for those driving into the City Centre to face daily charges of up to £15.Labour candidate Michael Shanks branded the move “a tax on working people” and said the move was “unthinkable” in a cost of living crisis.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
