Brooke Vincent was left emotional before experiencing a day of 'firsts' with her family. The actress had taken to social media ahead of her eldest son's first day at school and the emotions were clearly high for the mum-of-two.

Brooke shared a picture of the moment her then-baby son Mexx gripped hold of her finger for the first time alongside a video of his new school uniform ready to be worn for the first time. "They always said 'It will go fast' I just didn’t realise how fast," the former Coronation Street star penned. "Here’s to your new adventure Mexx!
