Broadband giant urged to improve 'rock bottom' service after price hike

Consumer watchdog Which? has named the 'worst broadband firm for customer service' in a warning to customers. According to the watchdog, complaints from broadband users over the customer service they receive are on the rise, with Virgin Media now the most-complained about broadband provider in the country.

Ofcom is currently investigating the internet giant, which is the second-largest internet provider, over its handling of complaints and contract terminations.

Virgin Media was the most unpopular of the internet providers in a survey of complaints, with customers saying they are hard to contact and slow.

Rocio Concha, Which? director of policy and advocacy said: “Customer service has hit rock bottom – with some customers stuck in endless loops just trying to get help."
