ITV has announced a significant change to the format of Britain's Got Talent for its upcoming series. The broadcaster revealed that the show will now run for up to four months, starting earlier in February instead of April, and will be broadcast every Saturday night.

Instead of the usual five live semi-finals airing nightly across one week, they will now be shown weekly. The familiar judging panel of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli will return, with additional audition locations added to this October's tour, beginning in Blackpool.

This is particularly good news for Bruno, who joined the BGT panel in 2022 after an 18-year stint on Strictly Come Dancing. Reports suggest that his move to ITV may have been sweetened by a substantial salary, with claims that he earns a staggering £21,000 per week on the talent show.

It's also reported that his entertainment company, Fulvia Ltd, has seen a significant increase in income, rising from £2.4 million to £3.5 million.
