ok.co.ukNetflix viewers have spotted a potential twist for Benedict Bridgerton and Lady Tilley Arnold's affair after an exciting new trailer was released for the second half of Bridgerton's third season.The first set of episodes, which dropped on the streaming service last month, saw Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) finally exploring her romantic feelings for Benedict's younger brother Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
Fans will continue to follow their story when the series returns on June 13, while a new trailer hinted at the introduction of a new love interest for Benedict who appears in the book series, Sophie Beckett.
Sophie seemed to make a brief appearance as Benedict (Luke Thompson) was seen looking shocked at a mystery woman with her back to the camera, causing a stir among fans on Twitter.
Just moments before in the trailer, Benedict was seen in bed with his new partner Lady Tilley Arnold (Hannah New). However, those familiar with the books will know that Sophie, the illegitimate daughter of the Earl of Penwood, is actually Benedict's wife and the mother of their four children in Bridgerton author Julia Quinn's novels, reports the Mirror.
