A "sizeable emergency services presence" is on hand near a retail outlet in Coatbridge due to a "major gas leak".Mackinnon Mills is closed until further notice as it falls into "an exclusion zone" amid the leak.

A statement on the Kirkshaws Road shopping facility's Facebook page reads: "Due to a major gas leak in the local area, unfortunately Mackinnon Mills falls into an exclusion zone and we are unable to open until it is safe to do so.
