Bolton's Gethin Jones names Everton player as inspiration and becoming a voice in Wanderers dressing room

For all the latest news from in and around Bolton, sign up for the free MyBolton newsletter Gethin Jones has named Everton skipper Seamus Coleman as an inspiration in his career as he became a right-back and explained how he is becoming a senior voice in the Bolton Wanderers dressing room.

The 25-year-old established himself as Bolton's first choice right-back last season after arriving at the club last summer. He made 40 appearances in all competitions and scored three times as the University of Bolton Stadium outfit as Wanderers clinched automatic promotion to League One.

Jones was rewarded for his efforts in a Wanderers shirt with a new two-year contract which will keep him at the Whites until the summer of 2023.
