Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Billie Eilish is throwing some shade at extra-long concerts. During an appearance on Stationhead, the 22-year-old Hit Me Hard and Soft singer made it clear that she would never take the stage to deliver a three-hour show.

I don’t even want that as a fan,” Billie said, via Page Six. “My favorite artist in the world, I’m not trying to hear them for three hours.” She ultimately deemed a show at that length as “far too long.” Over the last year, both Taylor Swift and Beyonce have embarked on lengthy tours that have reached or run past the three-hour benchmark.

Some on social media accused Billie of throwing shade at them. Billie faced similar accusations after calling out the music industry’s wasteful practice of releasing multiple variants of an album on vinyl.
