The RAER Pedro Ximenez Expression won the Gold Medal this year, with RAER's Oloroso Expression taking the award home in 2022.According to the whisky experts, the winning drink is noted for its "unique profile, offering a luxurious combination of bold, oaky richness, and sumptuous candied sherry flavours, expertly blended to create a harmonious and sophisticated drinking experience".Despite RAER only opening back in 2019, this distillery is already renowned for creating Scotch whiskies, using new and innovative aging and blending techniques."The Scottish Whisky Awards is a benchmark of excellence, and winning the Gold Medal, again, is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality," said Jaynie Kean, Director at RAER.
