Sam Jackson, 50, who lives on Bamford Road in Heywood, made the heartbreaking discovery while dog walking with friends in Bluebell Woods on April 4, 2018.

She says: "I was walking with my friend and her daughter and one of the dogs wandered off and we could not get his attention. "When we saw what he had found was a baby we were so shocked and it has stayed on my mind."
