Antonio Colak has officially completed his exit from Rangers, signed for Parma. The Croatian frontman started last season as Gio van Bronckhorst's main no.9 and scored 14 goals in the first half of the campaign before Van Bronckhorst was shown the door.
He was unfancied by Beale though and started just four league games under the Englishman. He's since been pushed further down the pecking order by the arrivals of Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers and with another striker seemingly set to follow in Danilo, the club had been open to offers for Colak.Parma's interest emerged last week and Rangers accepted a bid worth £2.5m - a profit on the £1.8m they paid for him 12 months ago.
And he has now officially completed the move, leaving Ibrox after just one season in which he totalled 18 goals in 39 appearances.Michael Beale said: "Antonio can be really proud of his time here at Rangers.
He scored goals and made a good contribution on the pitch but also as a man and professional, he was someone that I enjoyed working with and who built strong relationships with his team mates and staff off the pitch. “We initially had a conversation at the end of last season, where we discussed football, his family and also what the future would look like in terms of the team.
