Ange Postecoglou doesn’t fear losing top stars as he says sales can help keep Celtic growing and improving in the Champions League.
The Parkhead boss insists development comes from evolution and improvement on a constant cycle. Postecoglou’s newly-built squad foraged back into the top-level group stages for the first time in five years after winning last term’s title and the manager aims to make qualification into Europe’s elite tournament an annual event.
Success, of course, brings vultures with integral members such as Matt O’Riley and Josip Juranovic are amongst those attracting attention from outside Parkhead due to their performances since moving to Glasgow’s East End.
Celtic do not have to sell anyone, but the boss doesn’t seem worried if it were to happen at some point because he feels anyone leaving just offers him an opportunity to improve the squad again.
