Amy Dowden distraught and crying over hair loss amid breast cancer treatment
ok.co.ukAmy Dowden has opened up about how she's "distraught" and has been having weekly "meltdowns" over losing her hair, as she continues treatment for breast cancer.
The Strictly Come Dancing pro, 33, announced in June that she had undergone a mastectomy after discovering that she had stage three breast cancer.
Amy later said doctors found another type of cancer and has since been documenting her experiences, hoping it will raise awareness and encourage others to check themselves.Through documenting her cancer battle, Amy has opened up to her fans about her heartbreak after losing her hair following her chemotherapy treatment.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Monday, 11 September. Amy shared that her third round of chemo had been the "best one so far" before going on to discuss her hair loss.
