Green Day have criticised the notion of finding new music “via algorithms”, such as on TikTok, as “lazy”.The legendary rock trio have said in a new interview that they think listeners can miss out on a broader spectrum of new music if they’re reliant on social media to discover emerging artists.“Social media is great for kids but if you’re finding your music via algorithms then that’s just lazy,” bassist Mike Dirnt told The Sun. “I like to organically find new things. Tekashi 6ix9ine has been arrested by authorities in the Dominican Republic on domestic violence charges.The 27-year-old rapper – real name Daniel Hernández – was apprehended on Wednesday (January 17) in the country’s capital of Santo Domingo in relation to domestic violence. No further details were immediately available (per Associated Press).A judge is expected to decide whether the rapper will remain in jail or if he will be released on bond.This is not the first time 6ix9ine has had a run-in with the law in the Dominican Republic.

Emily In Paris star Ashley Park has shared that she suffered from tonsillitis which nearly killed her, while on holiday around New Year.The 32-year-old revealed details about her health scare, which began in Thailand, on Instagram, where she posted multiple pictures of her recovery in hospital.The post’s caption explained how she experienced an infection which quickly worsened, becoming life-threatening.
