Police appeal for information after person ‘seriously injured’ in Christmas Eve crash

Police have issued an appeal for information after a crash in Flixton left a person with ‘serious injuries’. The crash happened on Trevor Road, shortly after 3.15am on Christmas Eve (December 24).

Police say a Grey VW Polo collided with a parked Golf that had a passenger inside. The passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries, not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. He was subsequently charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and bailed to appear in court in February. Officers are appealing for anyone who may have dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from around the time of the incident to get in touch quoting log 430 of 24/12/23.
