Alison Hammond grimaces over 'uncomfortable' joke about This Morning co-star
ok.co.ukAlison Hammond was left speechless by a joke about Phillip Schofield on Rob Beckett's Smart TV. The former Big Brother star, who has been a presenter on This Morning since 2002, found herself in an awkward situation during the panel show.
Alison, who took on a more prominent role after Phil quit his job at ITV following a scandalous affair with a younger male colleague, faced off against comedian Josh Widdicombe.
However, things got a bit uncomfortable when Josh made a joke about Phil. Show host Rob started the show by asking Alison: "Alison, are you feeling confident in your team as the captain? ".
Alison said, "As the captain I am feeling very confident. I've got Nat. I've got Roman. I feel like I've got backup. Mainly because I probably don't know that much because I've been so busy, Rob.
