A popular Indian street food restaurant is bringing its famous build-your-own naan rolls and rice bowls to Manchester. Rola Wala will be opening its doors on Deansgate, next to KFC and Pret a Manger from early November.

Announcing the news today, the Indian food concept, which specialises in foot-long naan and main meals that are both healthy and fresh, will be open for post-gym food hits but also late-night food fixes, as it will be open on weekends until 3am.

A current license application for the site has proposed Thursday to Sunday opening hours as 10am to 4am though. The restaurant, whose name means ‘man that rolls’ in Hindi started life as a street food stall in London back in 2016 before founder Mark Wright opened the first restaurant in Trinity shopping centre in Leeds.

Since then, Rola Wala has featured in a Hollywood movie, 'Burnt', has been named ‘London’s Best Wrap’ by Rita Ora, and even made a cameo appearance on Jamie Oliver's Friday Night Feasts.
