A food van dishing out FREE pies is parking up in Manchester today

Pastry lovers will be able to get their hands on free pies today being served up from a food van in Cathedral City Gardens. Wagamama is today treating Mancunian pastry fans with free samples of its newest addition to the menu — chicken katsu pies, a mash up of two of the nation’s favourite dishes.

The restaurant has partnered with pie pioneer Willy's Pies to create the chicken katsu pie along with a plant-based pie with mushroom, kimchee and edamame pie. The pies will also be available in Wagamama Manchester St Peter's Square and Wagamama Manchester Printworks for a limited time only.

Centred around Wagamama’s iconic katsu sauce, Willy’s Pies have packaged the legendary sauce within a flaky, indulgent pastry to create the chicken katsu pie.
