Yobs 'launched fireworks' at police following out-of-control house party

Police have committed to setting up patrols on a housing estate after 'feral' partygoers 'launched fireworks at officers'. The disturbance occurred on Saturday night (October 9) and involved dozens of youths who had spilled out onto the street during a rowdy house party, according to Leeds Live.

West Yorkshire police (WYP) said officers were called to Darfield Avenue in Harehills estate, Leeds, after receiving "a number of calls from residents reporting anti-social behaviour".

In an attempt to disperse the crowd, the party was shut down by police, however trouble soon spread to other streets nearby.
