Woman dies after falling from bridge in Wilmslow
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA woman has died after falling from a bridge, police have confirmed. Officers were called to the A34 in Wilmslow this afternoon.
Paramedics rushed to the scene but the woman sadly suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The A34 currently remains closed in both directions.

READ MORE: LIVE: Crane topples and 'slices through house' - latest updates from the scene A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Shortly before 1.30pm on Saturday 6 April, police were called to reports of a woman having fallen from a bridge on the A34 in Wilmslow.
Officers attended the scene along with paramedics, including air ambulance. "Sadly, despite the best efforts of all those involved, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
