I just couldn’t turn down that much money,’” Will told THR. “And I thought, ‘Can I actually say those words?
I don’t think I can, so I guess I can’t do the movie.’” Released in 2003 and directed by Jon Favreau, Elf grossed over $223 million in the worldwide box office and became an instant Christmas classic.
