HOLLYWOOD screen legend Marilyn Monroe would have celebrated her 90th birthday today and over half a century after her death, the star's allure has never been stronger.Monroe, one of the most iconic stars of Hollywood's golden age of cinema, died of a drug overdose in 1962, aged 36.Born Norma Jeane Mortensen, Monroe personified 1950s glamour and went through a string of high-profile relationships, including marriages to baseball great Joe DiMaggio and playwright Arthur Miller and rumoured affairs with Robert or John Kennedy - or both.The final years of Monroe's life - whose best-known movies are "The Seven Year Itch," "Some Like It Hot" and "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" - were marred by illness and personal problems.
