The 2022 Super Bowl – otherwise known as Super Bowl LVI – aired on Sunday evening (February 13) across NBC, Telemundo and Peacock, and the viewership numbers are finally in, via Variety. Click inside to read more… The game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals brought in 112 million total viewers across NBC, Telemundo, Peacock, NBC Sports Digital, NFL Digital platforms, and Yahoo Sports mobile properties, reaching 167 million viewers overall.
As a result, it became the most-watched show in five years! The game averaged 101.1 million traditional TV on NBC and Telemundo, up 8% from 2021’s game, which drew about 91.6 million, via Nielsen.
2019’s Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams averaged approximately 98.2 million viewers on CBS, the lowest viewership total since 2008.
