It also creates an ambigram, where the sequence reads the same upside down. Both a palindrome and ambigram date won't happen again until 2080, according to the Economic Times.
And another Twosday won't happen again for 200 years, until 2 22 2222. The excitement will mount even further tonight just before 10.20pm, when the digital clock reaches 22:22:22 on 22.22.22.
