We have new details about the upcoming season of Love Island but it’s unclear what it could mean for Irish hopefuls wanting to nab a spot in the villa.
With confirmation from officials in Spain that British tourists will be allowed to return to the country from next week, it looks like Love Island will be returning to the Majorcan villa we know and love this summer.
There had been speculation that the series could be filmed a little closer to home as a result of lockdown restrictions but thankfully that won’t be the case.
While Love Island bosses had hoped to go ahead with plans to film in Majorca, they had also listed Jersey and Cornwall as back-ups. ‘I am pleased to inform you that the ministerial order will be officially published today
