Oh yeah that’s right… Somebody else is here!!!Posted by FooVana on Thursday, July 18, 2024It is not the first time in recent weeks that the Nirvana bassist has played some of his former band’s songs on stage: last month, his current group The Bona Fide Band played ‘Love Buzz’ in Kurt Cobain’s hometown of Aberdeen, Washington.The song was first written and recorded by Dutch band Shocking Blue in 1969 and was later covered by Nirvana and released as their debut single on Sub Pop Records in 1988.Last year, Novoselic told NME about the chances of a reunion from the surviving Nirvana members in the future.“I’d like to,” he said. “There was a time after Kurt died when I said to myself, ‘I’m never going to play these songs again’.

That was part of the grief I went through. We don’t want to overdo it, we try to make it special and be grateful.“When the opportunity comes, we do it if it feels right.
