Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

dailyrecord.co.ukA Kilmarnock GP has won the prestigious Diabetes Project of the Year award.Wards Medical Practice Team was recognised at the Scottish Healthcare Awards recently.The team, led by GP Rohit Sabharwal, were the clear winner for the award after all of their amazing work to improve diabetes support for patients.The team offered patients in person and online group consultations, as well as a guidebook, recipe book, YouTube and email resources.Patients were said have felt more in control of their condition and had the tools they needed to continue to improve.Dr Rohit Sabharwal, one of the GPs in the practice, explained: “Lifestyle medicine has a vital role to play in helping us to improve the health of our local population.
And so, it was important for us to work with our patients to support them to feel more in control of their condition and to make healthy choices.
It was great to bring a community of patients together with this work, something we really lost during COVID-19, when everyone was so isolated.“I am so proud for our team to be presented with the Diabetes Project of the Year award – it is perhaps one of the most fulfilling pieces of work I’ve been involved in as a GP.
However, I can’t take all the credit. It was very much a team project.“Receptionists, secretaries, healthcare assistants – everyone had an important role to play.
