Vin Diesel champions support for Hollywood writers' strike

Fast and Furious actor Vin Diesel has shared his support for the Hollywood writers' strike. The 55-year-old actor was seen alongside his Fast-X co-stars at a fundraiser at Universal Studios Hollywood for the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project.

When questioned about the impact the writers' strike might have on the next movies in the franchise, Diesel said it was "important" to support the writers during this time.

He said: "I think we're entering a very interesting age where we're going to have to consider things like AI, and sooner or later we're going to have to ask those questions. "And I think putting the writers' debate on the table is a step forward for all of us in every occupation to start anticipating or figuring out how we're all going to adopt this new norm and this new technology," he said.
