Vernon Kay begins 115 mile running challenge for Children In Need

BBC Radio 2 presenter Vernon Kay will be taking part in an exhausting challenge to help raise cash for Children In Need. Veron started his 115-mile ultamarathon on Tuesday - which he aims to complete by Friday night.

He will be attempting the run from Victoria Park in Leicester to his hometown of Bolton and will finish at the Bolton Wanderers stadium.

Vernon’s ultramarathon will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds with viewers able to leave messages of support through their regular shows hosted by other BBC presenters to keep him motivated.
